South Eastern Coalfields ( SECL ) has invited the applications from trade apprentice for one year Apprenticeship Training on 5500 vacant seats. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 23rd July 2019.
About South Eastern Coalfields ( SECL )
South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) is the largest coal producing company of India, and one of eight fully owned subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
Its headquarters in Margherita in Assam.
The unit came into existence in 1985 after nationalization of coal mines in India.
It took over the private mines spread in South Eastern States of India and at present has mines operating in states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
At present there are five working mines three underground and two opencast mines.
When India Government decided to bifurcate a part of coal mines held by Western Coalfields Limited into new unit called South Eastern Coalfields Limited, along with Central Coalfields Limited, which was bifurcated into Northern Coalfields Limited, for administrative purpose. [more].

Notes
- Candidates should have passed relevant ITI course from Institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT and also should have passed 8th/l0th standard of examination as per the requirement of relevant Trade.
- The candidates should not be pursing Apprenticeship Training or should not have done Apprenticeship Training in any other Establishment in the same Trade in which he is making application in SECL.
- The age of candidates as on 23107/19 should Stenographer and secretarial assistant trade and not be less than 16-years in Draughtsman, COPA, 18 years in other trades.
Trainees after completion of one year Apprenticeship Training shall not absorbed and provided job in South Eastern Coalfields Limited in any case. The trainees have no right for job and the management shall not consider their reques/right for job.
The candidates shall not be provided any TA/DA' accommodation for attending documents
verification or srlhmission of medical fitness certificate.
The SECL management reserves the right to increase or decrease the seats or
cancel the whole Apprenticeship Training programme.

Apprenticeship Rules shall apply

- Check the official apprenticeship website www.apprenticeship.gov.ln. Click “Apprentice” tab and register yourself entering relevant information and uploading the relevant documents
- An E-mail will be received on your registered E-mail by auto created E-mail giving your registration Number and Password’ click establishment search and enter South Eastern coalfields Limited
- Enter the relevant data and click ‘submit’ button to make your online application
